Hydra creates food security and renewed potable water from a recycled resource.

We grow food crops with recycled water.  Adding greenhouses at the end of the Hydra  IWR2M™ system allows us to exploit the value of the recyclable water for the creation of urban-based food production.  Taking advantage of the creation of clean water we can, in temperate and equatorial  climates, generate 450 metric tons of vegetables per year from each hectare of greenhouse development.

The greenhouses offer an added advantage.   Plants naturally draw water through their roots and expel it as water vapor  through their leaves.  The process is known as transpiration.   Transpirated water vapor is the purest water known in nature!   We are able to capture 25% of the transpirated vapor and harvest 8 million liters of pure potable water per hectare per year.
